ROAR! Today was the first and LAST time I ever use Adobe Illustrator to do an entire Far From It strip. I was plagued with problems the whole way and talk about slow slow slow slow slow production! I never thought the strip would end and it's still not as good as I originally intended, but I just decided to release it as is rather than fumble through Illustrator's clunky interface anymore. CorelDraw FOR THE WIN!

In other news, yeah I mentioned in a previous posting that the website is getting a facelift and yes it is, I just don't know what to do with it yet. So, I'm sticking with this lame-o site until I get it the way I want it. If you guys have any good ideas for a new interface, lemme know, cause I'm kinda in a rut with ideas for it right now. Blah. When I go back to CorelDraw on the next strip I'll be in a better mood! Have a good 4th, y'all. Cheers.

UGGHHHH....again with this annoying website design. Well, it'll be going away soon, this week I'm on vacation, as well as next and I totally intend to re-design this place to get ready for my new batch of strips I've been writing for the past month.

I found out that one of my heroes from growing up passed away recently. Make-up effects maestro, Stan Winston who was responsible for such great creature effects as the queen alien from Aliens, the original Predator, Jurassic Park, and lest we forget, the Terminator! He also directed the always entertaining horror flick Pumpkinhead and you can see some of his brilliance in puppetry in that as well. We'll miss you Stan!

FLICK YOUR WRIST'S BOYS!

Heyo! And I meant that in a Johnny Carson sorta way. So make sure you make the sound in your head when you read it. And if you don't know who Carson is...well, hell I barely remember him either.

So, who thought it was necessary to come up with another annoying expression to flood the masses with. I wonder... well, anyway, Raoul, as usual is ranting and raving about the ever annoying term "Diva" that has been springing up countlessly everywhere on about everything.

If you've seen the new Vitamin commercial about how all the b-hole vitamins are getting 're-formulating' you'll know that one of the vitamins is in fact...a diva! Yay! And of course there's that TV show, Toolbelt Diva, YEAH! All I gotta say is if you're loving the new wonderful term of the day, my new favorite retort might be...

CHOKE YOURSELVES!

Nah, I'm just joking, but Raoul isn't. He's out to get them Diva-loving hooligans like Wayne Brady on a ho.

CHECK IT!

New comic up, as you can see. I took the idea basically from whenever I see someone who has a phone with a "song" based ring tone, and they're never good songs, period.

Now I know of this one, Avril Lavigne song that I heard the lyrics to one time ago and for some reason it just really bugged the crap out of me. So, I used them for the song that Raoul is hearing coming out of Lexy's cell phone.

My brother always has a lot of hip-hop going on at his house and I heard this song by some rapper called Webbie and thought it'd be hilarious to turn someone's fairly innocent ring tone over to something horrible like that.

Can't say I'd recommend either song ever. But, if you feel the need to hear either one of the songs, I'll list the names so you can search for them until your heart's content!

HALLUH, ALL YOU GANGSTAS!!

Just when you thought you had gotten rid of me, Far From It is back! We got ourselves a new format, a new sleeker looking website and a bunch of other stuff, and one of those shoutbox things too, so I will be insisting you show your love on that thing...just take your peepers on over right-wise ----> and you can see it eyeballing you just waiting to have your fingers type something into it.
